Claude’s personal agent
Hi folks, I’ve been working on a way to get my X bookmarks grouped in the right places for the newsletter If you didn’t know, Keshav, who’s been working with me for many years, is leaving us at the end of the year to dive further into the exciting world of AI He used to do a lot of the work behind the scenes, getting our links ready
Details
This is what I’ve built and am using as of this week Oh and one other change to Ben’s Bites - we’re changing how we work with sponsors…from 2027 we’re only going to work closely with 4 companies per quarter a ‘season’ where I’ll be building with the tools, telling their story through sessions I share I’ll only approve companies I admire, respect and want to use or already do! and they can’t sign off on what I can say
Context
If you’re interested in applying, our new partner page is here My feed Anthropic has entered the personal agent/assistant race with Duet A separate app mobile, US-only in research preview, so I can’t use it 😭 I imagine it’ll be pretty good with rough edges, like the rest of them Big security issues yesterday with PHP a programming language that a lot of the internet runs on and Railway a hosting platform
Impact
I pinged Codex yesterday ‘check if any of my work uses PHP or Railway, assess any risks and address them.’ OpenAI helped researchers find these vulnerabilities You’ve heard of ‘browser-use’, now there’s phone use that lets agents use real Android and iPhones Ethan Mollick’s new book, Co-Existence, explores living and working with AI that is sometimes, but not always, better than people
What's Next
Supermemory introduced a memory graph that extracts facts from documents, links related memories, and resolves updates while preserving previous versions Grok Bot can build and update pages, with suggested uses including morning briefs, design documents, and weekly work summaries I still will use here.now because I want all my different agent apps to be able to use my pages like my todo board
Background
SF Compute CEO Evan Conrad discusses programmable data centers, GPU trading, and physical settlement on Latent Space Dan Shipper argues companies should create a frontier team to track changing AI models and share what it learns with colleagues If you're a small company 10-50 people that likes what Dan is saying but can't just hire a team for keeping up with the frontier - I want to talk with you
Analysis
I already do it for Ben's Bites, and I can do it for your company DM me on X / email me Anthropic reports that 17 of 211 Claude-designed protein binders against scorpion neurotoxins met its experimental binding criteria AgentReady is an open specification for making products usable by AI agents, organised around finding information, reading it, and taking action
